Sustainability

Data-centre development carries material energy and water considerations. The Group’s approach is established at design stage and reported against once facilities enter service.

Our approach

Commitments applied to PDC KL1

Operational performance data will be published once the facility is commissioned. The commitments below define the design basis.

01

Energy efficiency

Efficiency targets are established at commitment stage and published, with operational performance reported against them once the facility is in service.

02

Water stewardship

Cooling systems are assessed on water consumption alongside energy performance, consistent with Malaysian data-centre planning requirements.

03

Renewable supply

Renewable supply is pursued through available Malaysian mechanisms, with the proportion of renewable energy reported.

04

Local capability

Technical capability is developed domestically through the Group’s academy, supporting Malaysian employment in infrastructure operations.

05

Equipment lifecycle

Direct ownership of the estate supports extended equipment lifecycles and responsible disposal at end of life.

06

Research access

A proportion of compute capacity supports Malaysian university and institutional research programmes.
