Designed for high-density compute
PDC KL1 — Packet Data Centre Kuala Lumpur 1 — is being developed to support high-density compute from the outset, with a power and cooling envelope specified for AI training and inference workloads rather than adapted from general-purpose provision.
The facility is intended to serve hyperscale requirements alongside Malaysian enterprise, government and research workloads, with the Group owning and operating the plant directly.
Service commitments
- Colocation and dedicated AI compute capacity, contracted by rack or by cluster.
- Malaysian ownership, with client data held under Malaysian jurisdiction.
- Design to a Tier II standard, with certification objectives published.
- Interconnection with the Group’s hosting estate, providing a migration path from managed platforms to dedicated capacity.
Design standard
PDC KL1 is designed to a Tier II standard. Tier certification is issued by the Uptime Institute; the Group describes the design standard applied and does not represent a Tier rating in advance of certification.
Tier II provides redundant capacity components on a single distribution path. Where a workload requires concurrent maintainability — a Tier III characteristic commonly specified by hyperscale tenants and by clients with stringent availability commitments — that requirement is best addressed at design stage, and we welcome those discussions early.
Certification objectives
ISO/IEC 27001 implementation is in progress at Group level. SOC 2 Type II requires an operating period for audit and follows commissioning. Current status for each item is published on the Accreditations page.

Compute, network and facility infrastructure are owned and operated directly, supporting continuity of accountability from procurement through to service delivery.
